About Don Julio
Founded in 1942 by Don Julio González in the Jalisco Highlands, Don Julio is made from fully matured 100% blue Weber agave and was one of the first tequilas positioned as a luxury sipping spirit. Now part of Diageo, it is the leading premium tequila in travel retail and high-end on-trade worldwide.
Tasting notes
Rested for eight months in American white oak, which softens the agave and adds gentle warmth. Cooked agave and lemon lead into light caramel, vanilla and a touch of dark chocolate, with a smooth, mellow finish. Versatile enough for sipping or upgrading a classic tequila cocktail.
